C’est l’occasion de nous souvenir de l’extermination de millions de personnes par le régime nazi : les juifs mais aussi les tsiganes, les noirs, les homosexuelles, les malades mentaux, les opposants politiques…

Par delà les victimes, c’est l’occasion de se rappeler que c’est la peur des différences, le rejet de l’autre et la déshumanisation qui ont permis cette horreur, qui ont permis d’autres génocides. Fort heureusement cela ne se termine pas toujours mais cela peut prendre d’autres formes moins radicales mais plus pernicieuses. C’est important de s’en souvenir aujourd’hui.
