Heureusement la ville de Berlin a gardé des traces de son histoire, que ce soit le nazisme ou la division de l’Allemagne. En se promenant dans Berlin on est pris par cette présence. Ce n’est pas triste, ce n’est pas lourd, ce n’est pas de la culpabilité, c’est plus que l’histoire, c’est plus un message « plus jamais cela », un message d’espoir, un travail de mémoire dans lequel on est plongé
Un tronçon de plus de 1km du mur a été conservé et transformé en la plus grande galerie en plein air. East Side Gallery, une centaine de fresques. Chacune à sa manière nous parle de l’horreur du mur et de l’espoir. Une expérience forte. J’ai ramené un diaporama, une invitation à la mémoire que je vous propose de parcourir, une invitation à visiter Berlin.
Je souhaite aussi féliciter les berlinois pour ce travail difficile. Je souhaite le faire car cela est rare, car trop souvent l’homme préfère l’oubli qui est plus confortable.
