En France, même la droite, menée par trois anciens de ses premiers ministres, critique notre président et 49 organisations associatives, syndicales et politiques appellent à participer à un « rassemblement citoyen » le samedi 4 septembre pour protester contre la politique de sécurité du gouvernement : « Nous appelons l’ensemble des citoyens de ce pays à manifester publiquement leur opposition aux stratégies de stigmatisation et de discrimination et aux logiques de ‘guerre’ qui menacent le vivre ensemble ».
Le 4 septembre est le 140ème anniversaire de la IIIème République et de la fin du règne de Napoléon III.
