Incredible pilot’s-eye view pictures show what it is like to fly in the Red Arrows.
The photos where taken from the cockpit of the iconic jets as the squadron trained over the skies of East Yorkshire.
Team photographer SAC Hannah Beevers captured images from the backseat of Red 10’s jet – showing her comrades flying in formation.
The shots show the Squadron flying over York Minster, the Humber Bridge and Humberside Airport before heading back to their base at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire.
The Squadron is renowned for daring displays and brought the whole formation together for the first time this season just three weeks ago.
The Red Arrows begin training for the forthcoming season almost as soon as the previous year has ended.
Preparation starts with small groups of three or four aircraft formations and the formations grow in aircraft number as training progresses.

March 21 (Reuters) – Borderless AI has raised $27 million in a funding round led by investment firm Susquehanna and Bernard Arnault’s venture capital company, Aglaé Ventures, the artificial intelligence-powered human resource management platform said on Thursday.
The fundraise underscores the frenzy that had helped the AI sector attract a major share of VC money last year in a largely subdued environment. AI-related startups attracted one out of every three dollars invested in the U.S. in 2023, according to data from PitchBook.
The ease of operating technologies that can generate human-like responses to written prompts has also led to a surge in demand for AI applications.
Toronto-based Borderless AI, which uses generative AI to automate onboarding and managing payments of team members, was founded by Willson Cross and Sean Aggarwal.
Cross previously co-founded Canadian pet services platform GoFetch, while Aggarwal is the former chair and current lead independent director of the board at ride-sharing platform Lyft .
The funds raised in the latest round will allow the company to expand into new markets and build upon its current AI product suite, CEO Cross said in an interview with Reuters.
The company did not disclose its valuation after the fundraise.
Borderless AI’s model, called Alberni, can create employment contracts, analyze legal agreements and answer tax queries to help HR teams cut down costs and perform services quicker.
Alberni is available in 170 languages and can solve complex problems and automate processes within 10 minutes, according to the company.
« This isn’t going to replace the people behind the HR function, but instead, the goal is to make their jobs easier, more seamless and more efficient, » Cross added.
The company’s customers include dating and networking app Raya, global architecture firm MG2 and fintech startup Affiniti. (Reporting by Niket Nishant in Bengaluru; Editing by Shilpi Majumdar)

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) – Kyle Cunanan kicked the go-ahead field goal and Deshawn Purdie threw a key touchdown pass – both in the fourth quarter – to lead Charlotte’s 29-27 victory over UAB on Saturday in a game that twice went down to the final play.
Cunanan’s 31-yard kick gave the 49ers at 22-20 lead and Purdie threw 46 yards to O´Mega Blake for a touchdown that made it 29-20 with 5 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
Lee Beebe Jr.’s short touchdown run for UAB made it 29-27 with 2:57 remaining. The Blazers forced a punt then drove to the 17-yard line with a chance to win it on the final play.
Jonah Delange missed a 35-yard field goal attempt, but Charlotte was called for a personal foul. Given a second chance with no time on the clock, Delange missed from 25 yards.
Purdie completed only 9 of 26 passes for 215 yards and Sean Brown caught five passes for 100 yards for the 49ers (5-7, 4-4 American Athletic Conference).
Jalen Kitna threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns for UAB (3-9, 2-6). Corri Milliner had 126 receiving yards with a touchdown and Beebe rushed for 82 yards.
